History

Yes. Custer Post #46 is closing in on 100 years of service to God and Country! In recognition of our centennial, a special website of our history has been created at the American Legion Headquarters' website. It can be viewed here. The centennial website compliments the Post website. Think of the Post website as current operations and the centennial website as historical. And that's where you come in.

Now is the time to break out your photo albums and scrapbooks. Because you are the holders of our important Post history. With this great new centennial website tool, we can finally concentrate that history in one place accessible to all.

So dust off those albums, open the scrapbooks, and look through those boxes of memories. You'll find treasures of history crying out to be shared. And the best way to share them is via our centennial website. All you have to do is get your treasures to the Post's Public Relations Officer, me. I'll do the rest and return your treasures.

Then our history will be shared instead of vanished!
