Buddy Checks
Custer Legionnaires,
Custer Post #46 has activated its Buddy Check Program. All Post members are being contacted to ensure their well-being and to arrange for any necessary assistance.
Post Commander Donald Hone directed activation of this program due to personal isolation resulting from the Wuhan Flu pandemic “social distancing” measures. Post Service Officer Glen Talley. Jr. is managing the program with principal assistance from Post Adjutant Ralph Sowder, and Post Chaplain Paul Larson. Other Post members are assisting with telephone calls.
All Post members can expect periodic buddy checks while “social distancing” measures remain in effect. All members are encouraged to keep in touch with each other via telephone, e-mail, and other convenient means.
Stay in contact. And if you need any assistance, call Post Adjutant Sowder at (605) 673-3930 or any of the Post Officers. Veterans helping veterans. This is what the American Legion does!
